From the Knoxville News Sentinel 4 Mar 2005 WATSON, EMILY RUTH - age 82 of Harrogate, TN passed away March 2, 2005 in the Claiborne Co Hospital in Tazewell, TN. She had been a resident of Tri-State Health Care Center for almost four years. Born in Middlesboro on January 22, 1923 to Fred and Emma Watson. She worked for many years for Brown, Brown and West as an office manager. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Knoxville, TN. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday March 4th at Shumate Funeral Home with Dr. Chuck Summers officiating. Burial will follow the in the Middlesboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm Friday March 4th at Shumate Funeral Home.
