    2. Obituaries:Updated: Tuesday, March 8, 2005 9:01 AM EST Bessie A. Gaylor, 91 CLAIRFIELD, Tenn. - Bessie A. Gaylor, 91, passed away Monday, march 7, 2005, at Jellico Community Hospital. She was born Feb. 26, 1914, in Whitley County, Ky., the daughter of the late G.F. and Rachel Hyden. She was the step-daughter of John Davis. and was a member of Fonde Church of God Mountain Assembly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hyden; sister, Heida Jane Hyden; daughter-in-law, Peggy Gaylor. Survivors include her children: Dewey (Roberta) Lawson, Williamsburg, Ky., Rev. Bill (Alice) Gaylor, Clairfield, Loretta (Neal) Hill, Clairfield, Carolyn Gaylor VonPein, Lafayette, Ind., Wayne Gaylor, Clairfield, Lois (J.B.) Brewer, Clairfield, Jack (Geraldean) Gaylor, Pruden, Tenn., Michael (Jill) Gaylor, Fonde, special chosen daughter, Wilma Mays, Fonde; sister-in-law, Arizona Hyden, Clinton, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. Lonnie Lyke, the Rev. Cecil Johnson, and the Rev. Jody Moore presiding. Music will be by Rev. Jody Moore, Rev. Lonnie and Linda Lyke, Deborah, Terry, and the Fonde Church choir. Interment will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m. Thursday. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
