I'm trying to find information on William Shoop from Claiborne County TN. He married Nancy Manerva Russell in 1891 in Claiborne Co. and I last have him living with his son Marion in the 1930 census for Claiborne Co. I need to find when he died so I can get a death certificate for him. I believe he is my gg-grandfather. My William Shoop was born in 1854 in Morgan Co., KY. where his parents lived a few years on their journey from Virginia to Missouri. William's father died in 1862 in MO. and the family moved back to Morgan Co., KY to be near relatives. William married Amanda Lucinda Hurst in 1873 in Knox Co., KY. I have them in the 1880 census still in Knox Co. but Amanda reportedly died about 1885. I can't find William in KY after that but in 1900 I find a William Shoop in Claiborne Co., TN. and I'm trying to find if they are the same person. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Jerry Philpot.
