Johnie K. Vandergriff 03/12/2005 Aug. 19, 1964-Feb. 26, 2005 THORN HILL, Tenn. - Johnie K. Vandergriff, 40, of Thorn Hill, formerly of Monroe, died unexpectedly of a heart attack around 1 p.m. Feb. 26 in his home. Services were held. The Rev. Mike Vandergriff from Victory Church of God of New Tazewell, Tenn. officiated. Cremation has taken place. Coffey Funeral Home, Tazewell, Tenn., was in charge of arrangements. Surviving are his wife; his father of Harrogate, Tenn., and a brother, Greg of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his mother. Born Aug. 19, 1964, in Monroe, he was the son of Johnie and Martha (Baird) Vandergriff. He married Christina Ownby April 13, 2002. NOTE: Johnie owned the Clinch Mountain Winery.
