ANDREW HAROLD JESSEE - age 77, of New Tazewell, was born February 1,1928 and passed away Monday, February 21, 2005 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He was saved at an early age, and was a member of Little Barren Baptist Church. He was a lifetime farmer. He retired from the Claiborne Farmers Co-op. Preceded in death by: parents: Herbert and Esther (Braden) Jessee; brothers: Billy and Carl Jessee; sister: Blanche Cole. Survivors include: wife of 55 1/2 years: Margaret Ruth Janeway Jessee of New Tazewell, TN; daughters and sons-in- law: Margaret Linda and Ray Dean Coffey of Knoxville, Joy Jessee of Knoxville, Barbara Janice and Ellsworth England of New Tazewell; grandchildren: Brad Coffey, Trevor England, Tracy England, Danielle Keck, and Austin Keck; great grandchildren: Zachery, Kallilynn and Logan Coffey; sisters: Ada Blalock of California, Betty and husband Oscar Sweet of New Tazewell, Marie and husband Buddy Hickman of Knoxville; brother and sister-in-law: J. K. and Shirley Jessee of New Tazewell; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Claiborne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel. With the Rev. G.F. Beeler and the Rev. Doug Atkins officiating. Music provided by Dwight Smith, Derick Noe, and The Leatherwood singers. Burial will be at the Burch Cemetery. Pallbearers: Loyd Blalock, Mike Jessee, Rex Jessee, Scott Hickman, Mike Hickman, Rodney Cole.
