From the Knoxville News Sentinel 9 Feb 2005 SIMPSON, DOTTY CUPP - age 76 of Knoxville, passed away Monday, February 7, 2005 at Parkwest Medical Center. A member of Norwood Baptist Church. She had been employed at Cherokee Textile and, retired from F.W. Woolworth. Preceded in death by her first husband, Raddy Cupp, parents, mother, Mary Ruth Peoples Harshbarger Roberts and father, Earnest Harshbarger, brother, Robert Harshbarger Sr. She is survived by her loving family, husband, Leon Simpson; daughter, Becky Zielke of Chattanooga; granddaughters, Andrea Taylor of Newnan, GA and Shelly Benjamin of Spartanburg, SC; great grandchildren, Samantha and Alexa Taylor of Newnan, GA; sister, Betty Mazza; cousin, Patsy Williams. Mrs. Simpson is at Highland Memorial where the family will receive friends Thursday, February 10th, from 6:30 until 7:30 with a funeral service to follow at 7:30 pm with Rev. Nathan Livingston and Rev. Jack Cooper officiating. Interment will be Friday, at 11:00 am at Highland Memorial Park.
