Lawson and Gladys Niekirk Lawson who survives. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the Army and was a retired press operator of The Daily News where he worked 35 years. He believed in the Baptist Faith. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Albert and Sarah Lawson.
