TAYLOR, MSGT. BOB FRANKLIN - age 70, of Morristown, passed away Friday, August 4, 2006. He was of the Baptist faith and saved at an early age. He was a native of Claiborne County. Mr. Taylor served 22 years in the United States Marine Corps. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He received numerous Certificates of Honor and medals. He retired from the military in 1975 and became a co-founder of By-Lo Markets with his late brother-in-law Dallas Coffman. He was preceded in death by his parents Isaac and Rutha Taylor; brother Ray and sisters Clara Emma, and Mary. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Helen Jean (Coffman) Taylor; sons and daughters-in-law Mitch and fiancé Susan Francis, Tim and Sherry, Pat and Suzanne; daughter Leah; grandchildren Crystal, Stephanie, Zachary, Katie and Hunter Taylor, Christina and Bryan Wilder, and Casey and Katie Francis; brothers Alf, Fred, Paul, Roy, Shirley and Bruce; sisters Louise, Ruby, Marie and their families; and life long friend JoEllen Marshall. Special thanks to the Tennessee Cancer Specialist, Morristown-Hamblen Hospital, Doctors Melling and Htun, Home Health, and second and fourth floor nurses. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Stubblefield Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Marshall and Pastor Danny Georges officiating. Interment will be 10 a.m. Monday at Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the services.
