Does anyone researching this line have documentation as proof of this relationship (Armstead as son of Bartholamew)? The date of Armstead's marriage to Nancy Harrison is listed as 21 Mar 1823. What is the source of this date? The Claiborne Co. Marriage Registers begin with 1838. I would like to hear from Brooks researchers who have this information.
