    2. BUENA MAE BISHOP FLOYD MAYES RICK MIRACLE, JR. WARREN G. REED HAROLD L. SMITH MEDIA SMITH YEARY BUENA MAE BISHOP Buena Mae Shockley Bishop was born in Thorn Hill on September 14, 1918 and passed away June 17, 2006 at St. John's Nursing Home. She was the daughter of Enos B. Shockley and Hester Scearce. She was the oldest of 10. She is preceded in death by her husband; five brothers: Frank, Bruce, Elmer, Eddie (Toots), and Fred Shockley; two sisters: Clara Shockley and Doris Jelinek; grandson: Eric Bishop; great granddaughter: Crystal Campbell. She is survived by her children: Richard Bishop of Vallejo, Ca. and Buena (Dee) (Len) McLelland of Laurel, Mt.; four grandchildren: Gina Campbell of Colstrip, Melody (Chris) Milne of Columbus, Mt., Kelly (Leon) Lynch and Kim (John) McCabe of Vallejo, Ca.; one sister: Edith (Charlie) Bray of Monroe, Mi.; one brother: Paris Shockley of Knoxville; 15 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell on Friday, June 23 at 2 p.m. and final resting place at Shockley Cemetery at Thorn Hill. Coffey Funeral Home in charge. FLOYD MAYES Floyd Mayes, age 78, of New Tazewell, was born on March 21, 1928 and passed away on June 18, 2006 at Claiborne County Hospital. He loved gospel and country music, and had worked for Cas Walker. He also played on the Grand Ole Opry. He was preceded in death by his parents: Bud and Emaline (Keck) Mayes; brothers: Ralph, Charlie, and Ted Mayes. He is survived by his wife: Mary Lou Mayes of New Tazewell; daughters: Carolyn Luzadder (Don) of Fort Wayne, In, Karen Daulton (Richard L.) of Logansport, In, Keisha Harth, Brenda Coak (Bud) all of Fort Wayne, In, Kim Baker (Terry) of New Tazewell; brothers: Hubert Mayes of Fort Wayne, In, Ray Mayes of New Haven, In, Earl Mayes of New Tazewell; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 21 at 10 a.m. in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alonzo Miracle officiating. Music will be provided by L.B. and Annette Hunley. Rick Miracle, Jr., age 29, of Tazewell, was born October 19, 1976 in Claiborne County and passed away Saturday, June 17, 2006. He professed faith in Christ and attended several area churches. He was preceded in death by father: Rick Wayne Miracle, Sr.; grandparents, who raised him, Brown and Cleo Miracle. REED Warren G. Reed, age 82, of Sneedville, was born December 28, 1923 and passed away June 18, 2006 at his home. He was a member of Swan Creek Primitive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: Morrison and Lona Dodson Reed; brothers: Carson, Kyle and Junior Reed; sister: Verna Royston. He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Lillie Belle Greene Reed of Sneedville; sons and daughters-in-law: Morris and Mellissa Reed of Morristown, Johnny and Lani Reed of Johnson City; daughter and son-in-law: Donna and David Judkins of Potomac, Md.; grandchildren: Jared and Joel Reed, Jacklyn, Jonathan, Rebecca, Stacey, Anna Belle, Mary, Jackson Henry Reed, Sonja and Natalie Judkins; and a host of other relatives and friends. Smith, 70, of Toledo, Oh, was born in Kenna, Wv on April 4, 1936 and passed away on Monday, May 29, 2006, in Medical University of Ohio. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was the son of Wardie Wilbur and Mable Grace Smith (Copely). Mr. Smith who was known as "Smitty," was a production line worker at the former City Auto Stamping before the plant closed and be retired. He also owned a home-based accounting and tax service business. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Joyce; his son: Earl Wade; his daughter: Sheila Denise; his brother: Burl Smith; his sister: Mabel Smith; his step sister: Louise Carnell; his mother-in-law: Ivy Earl. Media was the oldest member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was the daughter of Flem and Ollie Nelson Smith. She was married to Ira Yeary. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by infant daughter: Betty Loreene Yeary; three brothers: Earnest Smith, Jim Smith, Harvey Smith; three sisters: Hazel Mills, Minnie Pyfrom, Flossie Wilke; half brother: Sherman Smith.
