Reed Wilmoth, 79 TAZEWELL, Tenn. - Reed Wilmoth, 79, passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. A former resident of Harrogate, Tenn., he was born Jan. 19, 1927, and was the former owner of Reed's Restaurant in Harrogate. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Church of Christ, and the Mount McKinley Association. He was also a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Laura Wilmoth. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Gerlene Wilmoth, Tazewell; daughter, Tonya Wilmoth, Melbourne, Fla.; grandchildren, Adam Wilmoth, George Wilmoth, Heather Wilmoth, and Mark Hall; sisters, Grace and Anna Mae; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Morgan Cornett Cemetery in Hyden, Ky, with the Rev. Craig Melton presiding. Pallbearers will be Bennie Burrows, Dudley Jennings, Jeromy Nettles, Mark Hall, Hobert Hays, and Trent Bussell. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Coffey Funeral Home, Tazewell, Tenn., which is in charge of arrangements.
