McDANIEL, MRS. JEWELL - age 69 of Corryton, TN, was born April 22, 1937 and passed away September 24, 2006 at Baptist Hospital West. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: husband, Kenneth "Smokey" McDaniel; parents, Jepp and Martha Seals Shockley; brother, Clayton Shockley. She is survived by: daughter, Jennifer Kendra McDaniel; grandson, Gage Kenneth McDaniel, both of Corryton, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Carl Prether of West Carrollton, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Chester and Bernice Shockley of Franklin, Ohio; brother, Wiley Shockley; brother and sister-in-law, Ellis and Carol Shockley; sister-in-law, Della Mae Shockley, all of Carlisle, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at the Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 28, 2006 at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Fred Reed officiating. Singers: The Reed Family and Stanley Leonard. Burial in the Cook Cemetery.
