She was the daughter of the late Ezra and Flossie (Bussell) Pendleton. She married Herman Ayers in Middlesboro, Ky, in February of 1949. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Mary Chumley and Audrey Vancena; daughter-in-law: Gayla Ayers. Survivors include her children: Douglas H. He professed faith in Christ at the age of 22 at Cedar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was a faithful member of Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church for many years. DOYLE EDWARD JONES Doyle Edward Jones, age 75, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan was born October 13, 1930 in Claiborne County, Tennessee and passed away in his home on September 1, 2006. He professed faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of the Underwood Grove Baptist Church. He moved his membership to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Redford Michigan where he served as Sunday School teacher, RA director, active member of the Baptist Brotherhood and Assistant Church Treasurer. He was ordained as a deacon in 1973. He served in Korea with the 24th Infantry Division of the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 and was buried with military honors. He was preceded in death by his parents: Flossie Jones Rose and Farlin L. Swanson. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Eula Gray Russell Jones, formerly of Speedwell; daughters and sons-in-law: Gwen and Larry Stesiak, Janice and Michael Kuhlman, Kristi and Derek Wiggins; sons and daughter-in-law: Michael Jones, Jeffrey and Petra Jones, David Jones; grandchildren and spouses: Jason and Jean Fletcher of Kingsport, Tennessee, Jamie and David Marcott, Susan and Jeff Maurus, Jacob and Laura Kumor, Elizabeth and Steven Davanzo; Zachary Doyle Kumor, Nicolas Kuhlman, Joshua Kuhlman, Heather Jones, Samantha Jones, April Jones, Samuel Jones, Ashley Jones, Brooke Wiggins and Evan Wiggins; great-grandchildren Abigail Gray Fletcher, Jake Marcott and Madison Maurus. Doyle is survived by sisters Bobbie Robinson and Lorene Mackey of Daytona Beach, Florida and sisters Bonnie Schmidt, Clara Warner, Wanita Pat Brown and brother Leonard Swanson all of Monroe, Michigan. He was also the favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews. He retired from General Motors in 1991 after 39 years of service. He enjoyed retirement thoroughly continuing to serve his church actively and spending time with the close-knit family which he valued and cherished. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, coin collecting, gardening and walleye fishing on the Detroit River, this summer catching his limit 18 times. He returned to Claiborne County every year to visit family and friends. Funeral services were held on September 6th in Michigan. ROY EVERETTE MIRACLE Roy Everette Miracle, age 86, of Whiteland, In, was born May 4, 1920 in New Tazewell and passed away September 19, 2006 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, In. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during WWII. He attended New Whiteland Baptist Church. He was the son of Peter W. and Sarah Ann (Lynch) Miracle. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Ira Miracle; sister: Alma Campbell. Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years: Ruth Irene (Runions) Miracle; two sons: Lee R. He accepted the Lord as his Savior at age eight. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping. He loved dirt bike riding, four wheeling, and motorcycling. He was a graduate of Thomas Walker High School. He was employed at Norris Homes of Bean Station. He was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother: Rev.
