From the Knoxville News Sentinel 10 Apr 2005 KECK, MRS. FLOSSIE CHINA WATSON - age 87 of New Tazewell, was born June 8, 1917 and passed away on April 8, 2005 at the Claiborne County Hospital. She was a faithful member of Watson's Chapel American Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will & Louisa Miller Watson; brothers, Sherman Emitt, Oscar, Verlin, Oral, Luther, Clifford, Estell, Erastus Watson; sisters, Violet Russell, Addie Mink. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Devine Keck; daughters & sons in law, Faye & Hubert Brooks of New Tazewell, Mae & Roger Brooks of New Tazewell; grandson, Greg Brooks; great granddaughter, Shelly Brooks all of New Tazewell; sister, Mae Ford; brother, Cleo Watson both of New Tazewell; brother in law, Roy Russell of New Tazewell; sister in law, Mossie Watson of Knoxville; very special friends, Roscoe & Joyce Watson of Tazewell; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. The family received friends Saturday April 9, 2005 at the Coffey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday April 10, 2005 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell. Burial in the Watson's Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Russell, Rev. Dallas Harrell and Rev. jerry Epperson officiating. McHone Quartet and Watson's Chapel Church Choir will provide music. Pallbearers: Greg Brooks, Coy Watson, Roscoe Watson, Jakie Watson, Tom Pressnell, Ralph Mink.
