She was born in Clairfield, Tenn., on March 20, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Bill Hopkins and Bessie Bailey Hopkins. She was a member of Binghamtown Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Clay Marsee. Survivors include one son, Randy Marsee of Speedwell, Tenn.; one daughter, Mary Younce and very special son-in-law, Edward Younce of Tazewell; one brother, Monroe Hopkins of Arthur, Tenn.; grandchildren, Amy Younce, Sarah Beth Younce, Laura Younce, Melinda Younce, James Marsee, Austin Marsee, and Miranda Marsee; and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be a private service with the Rev. Charles Price presiding. Burial in the Marsee Cemetery. He was born in Kettle Island on Aug. 5, 1945, the son of the late John M. and Myrtle Hardy Goins. He had been a mechanic and had served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Christopher Goins; and brothers, Fred and John Goins. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Patricia Warren Goins; children, Clinton Crit Goins Jr. and Goldie, and Tracy Lynn Brooks and Tommy; grandchildren, Matthew Caleb Brooks, Emilee Madison Goins, and Abigale Brooke Goins; brother, Larry Goins; sisters, Lydia Lee Garrison and Elizabeth Harrington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He believed in the Holiness faith, was a coal miner, and was Veteran of World War II, receiving a Purple Heart. He and his wife Donna moved to Longview in 1995, and were faithful members of Rose Heights Church.
