One of my ancestors deeds references the old Indian Boundary line. I have a larger map of TN that shows that the boundary line went almost east to west just under the Cumberland Gap and crossed Gap Creek. Does anyone have a map of Claiborne county showing where this old boundary used to be, or know where I can find one. I'd like to find my ancestor's land, and I'd love to see that old rock marked with a D. Later transactions (1823) also reference a church, which I presume is Gap Creek, and Washington School. Does anyone know anything about Washington School? Does it still exist?
