>From The Knoxville News Sentinel 27 Dec 2006 BAILEY, MS. RUTH ALLENE - age 85 of New Tazewell, was born September 7, 1921 and passed away on December 25, 2006. She retired from First Century Bank after many years of service. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: parents, James A. and Etta (Campbell) Bailey; brothers, Howard Bailey and Dan Bailey. Ruth made her home with her niece Janet and Lynn Barnard and daughter Danielle Barnard all of New Tazewell, TN. Caregiver, Penny Neal of Tazewell, TN and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the Claiborne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Thursday, December 28, 2006 in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Lewis and the Rev. Paul Collingsworth officiating. Music by Pleasant View Choir. Burial will follow in the Campbell Cemetery at Sycamore. Pallbearers: Carl Bolton, Dennis Estes, Wayne Estes, Doug Venable, Ed Johns and Dillard Barton.
