Gail Ann Brooks Mary Darlene Hubbard Gail Ann Brooks, 60 TAZEWELL, Tenn. - Gail Ann Brooks, 60, of Tazewell, Tennessee formerly of Gibson Station, Virginia passed away Monday, December 18, 2006, at the Claiborne County Hospital in Tazewell, Tenn. She was employed by Bushline Industries of Tazewell, and attended Binghamtown Baptist Church in Middlesboro, Ky. She was preceded in death by her parents: Paul and Doris Miles; one brother, Paul Miles Jr. Survivors include: One son, Michael Brooks and wife Tammy of Ewing, Va.; one daughter, Stephanie Eldridge and husband Donnie of Rose Hill, Va.; six grandchildren: Vanessa Eldridge, Jake Eldridge, Matthew Brooks, Cassie Blackburn, Brittany Hensley, and Nikki Hensley; one sister, Margaret Miles of Madison, Indiana. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, at the Arney-Mullins Funeral Home in Rose Hill, Va. Services will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Garry Long officiating. Born June 30, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Fred Shields and Gladys Graham, who survives. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Francis Shields; and her father-in-law, Floyd Hubbard. Survivors include her husband, John Hubbard Sr., Tazewell; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Scott Williams, New Tazewell, Tenn.; son and fiancee John Hubbard Jr. and Stephanie Lankford, Tazewell; grandchildren, Taylor Ellis, Rebecca Lankford, Sierra Hubbard, Niveya Darlene Hubbard, and Caleb Williams; mother and step-father, Gladys and Marvin Graham, Livingston, Tenn.; sisters, Billie Dean VanHorn, Texas City, Texas, Martha (Bill) Sponseller, Coldwater, Mich., Cheryl E. Smith, Algood, Tenn., Lucia Riley, Dayton, Ohio; brother, Fred Shields, Taylor, Mich.; mother-in-law, Florence Hubbard, New Tazewell, Tenn.; step-brothers, Wayne Graham and Floyd Graham, both of Bowling Green, Ky., and Kenny Graham, Jackson, Mich.; step-sister, Rosa Lee Graham, Bowling Green, Ky.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Creech Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Sharpe and the Rev. Gary Miller presiding. Music will be by Angela Thornsberry and Jessica Jones. Interment will be in Hubbard Cemetery at Chenoa. Pallbearers will be Bill Sponseller, Danny Hubbard, Ray Hubbard, Steven Frasure, Brian Frasure, and Scott Williams.
