JOE N. - age 75, was born March 27, 1931 and passed away at his home on February 17, 2007 in the Lone Mountain Community where he owned and operated Davis Auto Parts for over 35 years. He recently professed his faith in Christ. He enjoyed spending time on his farm and working with his cattle and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by: his son, David Davis I; parents, Sterley Davis and Josie Jordan Davis; sisters, Helen & Lucy Ann Davis and Evelyn Graves. He will be greatly missed by his children: son, Gary Joe Davis; daughter, Robin Thompson and husband Benny; grandchildren, Jeremy Davis and Chezlie, Diana Mabe and Junior, Christina Davis, David Davis, II and Sara, Joshua Holt and Jennifer, Jacob and Joseph Holt, Riley Thompson; great grandchildren, Rylie and Trace Davis, Bryan and Matthew Loop, Wesley Edds, Gabrielle Anderson and Tyler Holt; special friend and companion of 17 years, Norma Lee of Middlesboro, KY; special friend to Joe and his family, Dona Bunch McConnell; brothers, Ralph Davis, Frank Davis and Anne; sisters, Estelle Shillings, Nancy Weaver and Charles, Martha Powers; a host of nieces, nephews and longtime friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 pm Monday night, February 19, 2007 at the Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
