He was owner of The Hunkstand, Ray's Café, and Gap of the Cumberland's Trading Post, which was located across from Lincoln Memorial University. Preceded in death by: wife, Margarette Potter Haskew; parents, Carl Aaron Haskew and Lena Poore Haskew. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Kenneth West of Harrogate; grandson, Kendal Aaron Haskew West. Graveside services 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2007 at the Harrogate Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Luckadoo officiating. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
