I am researching the family of Sylvester Harrell. He was born 27 April 1826 in either KY or TN. I just rec'd his death certificate from IN and it states his parents were Riley Horrell (Harrell) and his mother was Hollie (which I think is supposed to be Mollie) Nunn. In 1860 Sylvester was living in Richland Co., IL with his wife of 6 years - Elizabeth Conour. His mother was living with him - Mary A. She was born about 1800 in VA according to the census. I have not been able to find her death record. I have a suspicion that Sylvester first married Lugany Nunn in Claiborne Co., TN. He is shown living next door to Sylvester Nunn who was Lugany's brother. I think by 1840 his mother was already a widow. I would appreciate it if anyone could help me.
