KEEN JONATHAN BOONE PATTERSON HARVEY SCOTT BRYAN GUY DAVIS Bryan Guy Davis, age 32, of Tazewell, was born January 1, 1975 and passed away January 9, 2007 at Claiborne County Hospital. He is survived by his wife: Maggie Davis; daughter: Molly Jean Davis; parents: John and Mary Davis all of Tazewell; sister: Tammy Davis of Wilmington, Nc.; nephew: Sullivan Sharp; and a host of other relatives and friends. RUTH CAMPBELL HURST Ruth Campbell Hurst, age 85, of Tazewell, was born March 3, 1921 and passed away January 10, 2007. She was a member of Blairs Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Nathan and Ida (Lambert) Campbell; husband: Rev. Granville Hurst; son: Randy Hurst; daughter: Phyllis Ann Hurst; brothers: Clyde Campbell, Nathan Campbell Jr., who she raised as a son; sisters: infant sister, Elsie Amix. She is survived by her daughter: Kathy Hurst and Donny Burris of Tazewell; granddaughter: Jennisy Harmon and husband Callie of Cleveland, Kristen Shockley of Tazewell, Kelli Shockley of Tazewell and Anthony Cupp; great grandson: Craye Harmon of Cleveland; brother: Waymond "Buster" and wife Helen Campbell of Lafollette, In.; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were Friday, January 12 at 1 p.m. in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Overholt and Rev. Roger Hansard officiating. Music provided by Janice Derreberry. OPAL JUSTICE Opal Justice, of Tazewell, formerly of Delphi, In., was born September 13, 1922 and passed away January 11, 2007 at Claiborne County Hospital. She was the daughter of J.S. and Minnie (Dixon) Bradford. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband: Claude Moyers, Sr.; 2nd husband: Dave Justice; eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter: Catherine Justice and husband Alvin of Pittsburg, In.; sons: Claude Moyers Jr. of Tazewell, Dan Moyers of Pittsburg, In.; step daughter: Vertie Gore of Delphi, In.; grandchildren: Jason Moyers, Sonya Moyers, Robert Justice, Danny Moyers, and Daniel Moyers; four great grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, January 15 at 1 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi, In. with Pastor Kermit Goins officiating. Burial in I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens in Pittsburg, In. Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi, In. in charge. ELAINE K. KEEN Elaine K. Keen, age 66, of New Tazewell, was born March 22, 1940 and passed away January 14, 2007 at her home. She was a member of New Tazewell Christian Church. She was a retired school teacher after 30 years of service in Indiana. She is survived by her daughter: Julie Allan; grandson: Christopher Bolton; great grandson: Jaiden Bolton all of New Tazewell; brothers: Carl Kober, Eugene Kober both of Indiana; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held Friday, January 19, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. at the New Tazewell Christian Church with Rev. Mike Parker officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. Coffey Funeral Home in charge. JONATHAN BOONE PATTERSON Jonathan Boone Patterson, age 24, of Harrogate, passed away Wednesday, January 10 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a student at Lincoln Memorial University and a former student at East Tennessee State University. He was active in EMT's, lifeguarding, and the Red Cross. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. William F. Sargent of Una, Sc.; paternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Lake E. Patterson of Maryville and Douglasville, Ga. Survivors include his mother: Rebecca S. Patterson of Harrogate; father and wife: George and Debra Patterson of Christiansburg, Va.; sister: Laura S. Patterson of Bowling Green, Ky.; step-brothers: David Dufault of Raleigh, Nc. and Daniel Dufault of Radford, Va.; uncles: Johnny R. Patterson and wife Shirley of Kennesaw, Ga., Robert L. Patterson and wife Mary of Douglasville, Ga., Nathan M. Patterson and wife Carol of Morristown; cousins: Jennifer P. Warren of Georgia, Natalie Patterson of Maryville, Janet P. McDavid and Kimberly P. Sedlecek both of Georgia; and many friends at LMU and ETSU. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. HARVEY SCOTT Harvey Scott, age 66, of Tazewell, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Laurel Manor Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard Jack and Polly Pace Scott; sisters: Frances Scott and Marie Goings; brothers: Steve Scott, Amos Scott, and Elijah Scott. Survivors include his daughters: Vicky King of Peru, Il., Debbie Scott of Toluca, Il., Tina Scott of Peru, Il.; grandchildren: Kelly King, A.J.
