    2. Joseph Donald Charlton Bryant, 27 TAZEWELL, Tenn. - Joseph Donald Charlton Bryant, 27 born July 16, 1979, passed away from this earthly vale on Feb. 25, 2007. He was saved at the age of 8 and was a member of Chittum's Chapel Baptist Church. A veteran of the United States Army, he received The Army Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Medal, and Army Service Ribbon. He enjoyed fishing, time with his two Jack Russell Terriers, and was a huge sports fan, especially of the UT Vols Football. He had a great sense of humor, evoking laughter from those around him. He leaves behind many fond memories for his surviving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his infant son, Emmitt Riley Bryant; grandfathers, Charley Bryant and the Rev. Donald Fannon; uncle, Jonathan Emmett Fannon Survivors include his mother, Peggy L. Fannon of Tazewell; father, Robert M. Bryant of Tazewell; brother, Michael Shayne Bryant of Tazewell; paternal grandmother, Georgia Bryant of Middlesboro; maternal grandmother, Ima Jean Fannon of Tazewell; uncles, Donald M. (Sandy) Fannon of Jonesborough, Tenn., Darryl Fannon of Knoxville, Tenn., Larry Lucci of Tazewell, Q. Norachaipeerapat, Boca Raton, Fla.; aunts, Angie Massengill of New Tazewell, Tenn., Jo Ann (Gene) Hatfield of Tazewell, Tenn.; cousins, Braxton Fannon, Nikki Brooks, Robert Hatfield, Jason Hatfield, Jacob Long; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 1, at 11 a.m. Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Cunningham, the Rev. Bill Rimmer, and the Rev. Bill Chapman officiating. Music will be provided by Sherry and Mike Campbell, Bobbie Arnold, and Tom and Billie Edwards of Chittum Chapel. Burial will be in Irish Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Pallbearers are Donald M. Fannon, Darryl Fannon, Jeffrey Keck, Josh Wise, Jeremy Buchanan and Ryan White. Honorary pallbearers are Brian Turner and Don Thacker. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Claiborne Funeral Home, New Tazewell, Tenn., which is in charge of arrangements
