>From the Knoxville News Sentinel 10 May 2007 KECK, MS. CLARA - age 91 of New Tazewell, TN WEST, THERESA ' TRESSIE' - age 87, of Cumberland Gap, KECK, MS. CLARA - age 91 of New Tazewell, TN, was born on February 3, 1916 and passed away on May 8, 2007 at UT Hospital. She was very proud to have worked in the Bomber Factory in Monroe, MI during WWII. She was a member of the Eastern Star of New Tazewell. She was a volunteer for several years for Meals on Wheels. She was a faithful member of Tazewell Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her: parents, Robert and Belva Owens; husbands, Rev. Erastus "Rat" Patterson of 44; Mr. Fay G. Keck of 21 years. She is survived her: step-daughters, Evelyn and husband John Moyers of Oak Ridge, TN, Alice Faye and husband Leon Dixon of Columbia, TN; 4 step-grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; sister, Hassie Runo of Santa Ana, CA; a very special and devoted friend, Jewel Lewis of New Tazewell, TN; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 pm Thursday, May 10, 2007 at the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm with the Rev. Mike Alexander and the Rev. Eddie Overholt officiating. Music will be provided by Janice Derreberry. Burial will be in the Greer Chapel Cemetery on Firday, May 11, 2007. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tazewell Baptist Church Building Fund. Survivors, son, Jackie (Susan) West, Harrogate; daughter, Becky (George) Treadway, Cumberland Gap; granddaughter, Holly (Kevin) Napier; daughter-in-law, Gail West, Killen, AL. Visitation 5-7 pm Thursday at Reece Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 7 pm. Captain Joe Irvin officiating. Music by Marilyn Rowland. Burial in the Chumley Cemetery.
