Born April 13, 1933, in Lone Mountain, Tenn., he was the son of Glen and Mattie (Bentley) McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel worked at Chrysler's Trenton Engine Plant, retiring in 1995. He served in the Air Force, Feb. 13, 1953, until May 27, 1958. A 1951 graduate of Monroe High School, he was a member of Monroe Full Gospel Church and Monroe County Men's Association East. Surviving are two sons, Victor of Texas and Randy of Monroe; a daughter, Sherri Bodi of Toledo; two sisters, Beverly Hilston of Beaver, Pa., and Carolyn Evans of Monroe; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Listers, any IRISH researchers on here? maybe someone can help. i've posted here many times researching my MOOREs. heres new info that has thrown me off. a recent found lady cousin in KNOXVILLE, she is 83 and is not doing gen nor on a computer. she told me her dad told her his dad told him that my great grand parents were from IRELAND, and they spelled the last name O'MOORE or other variants. and was told they came over during the IRISH POTATO FAMINE of 1845-1850. now thats interesting. if this is true than the 1s i think are my greatgrand parents aren't. we are to that JACK & NANCY MAYES MOORE are ours. no where has it been found that a NANCY MAYES dau of STERLING & SALLIE CARR MAYES was ever m. to a MOORE. she did in fact in 1882 marry a J.W.BOLIN. i've never found a BOLIN researcher.
