When I wrote that, the book was to have been available by now. That was written almost 3 months ago. However, due to some problems with some pictures having to be redone, it is not yet available. At the time it was written it was supposed to have been available by now. It is larger than first envisioned which is one reason for some delay. I am not sure when it will actually be available. Announcements will be made when it is delivered so that people can pick up their copies at the bank. Others will be mailed when they become available. I am just reporting what I know. I have not worked on the book. Robert Ziegler

    3. I spoke to Joyce Ramsey, President of the Claiborne County Historical and Genealogical Society, this evening, and she has updated me on the current status of the book. The statement in the Spring edition of "Reflections" is NOT, and I repeat, NOT, correct. The books ARE NOT in, and it will still be a while before they are. So, please disregard the statement made in the issue of Reflections, and keep in mind that this has not been an easy process. The current status is this: they are in the FINAL phase of editing, and it will be sent to the company in Mississippi, where it will in turn be put on digital format, and then sent on to North Carolina for publishing. The "Good News" is that the new book will be over 460 pages in size, where the first book was only 200 pages in size, so this second edition will definitely be worth its wait/weight. Again, disregard the remark in the Spring edition of Reflections, and *PLEASE* be patient, for just as many of you are frustrated, the people who have worked so hard on getting this book published are all the more frustrated, but that there are only so many mountains one can move, so now it basically boils down to "hurry up and wait". 1. Nancy Manerva Russell & William Shoop.
    2. I need help with Nancy and William. I'm trying to find William's date of death so I can order a death certificate. I've tried twice to have the Tennessee State Library search for it but they haven't found him through 1933. I know he is still alive in 1930 and living with his son Marion in Claiborne County TN. Also, his wife Nancy Manerva (Russell) Shoop died in 1924 in Claiborne County. Does anyone know where she is burried and if William is buried with her. I'm hoping his headstone will supply the necessary date for my search. William is my gg-grandfather and one of my brick walls. I really could use some help. Thanks, Jerry Philpot.

    3. Jerry: Try tndeathcertificates.com and you may be able to get your dc there. I use these people constantly, they are very easy to work with. Mr. Gowan takes the time to email me with questions or information on the dc's I have ordered if he thinks they are not the person I want, or if the info on the dc is not specific enough for him to make a determination. When you go to the tndeathcertificates.com site it does question you enough so that the information you provide is clear and concise. The cost is from $4 each and up depending on what your own research parameters are. Sheri in Louisiana [email protected] wrote: I need help with Nancy and William.
