Looking for any trace of William P Hampton and his family in Tennessee. William was born in North Carolina Aug 8 1789 . He married Malinda(maiden name unknown) born about 1792 in Virginia . William and Malinda had about seven children, but I only have information on two of them . John H Hampton was born 1818 in Tennessee and James P Hampton was born 1827 in Tennessee. I have information on William's decendents , but have not been able to find his parents or his siblings. I would like to find out where in Tennessee William and his family lived and where in Tennessee his sons were born. I would also like to talk to anyone researching the Hamptons in Tennessee.
