Hello Robert Carney - Have you tried "The Deserted Sycamore Village of Cheatham County" by Lois Barnes Binkley" Some Binkley information in it might help. My Kearneys (spelled various) were from the same area as yours - William b. 1815, Washington, and Jack Kearney - all brothers who lived on the Kentucky/Tennessee border in and out of Davidson Co. William and Washington moved to Williamson Co., Illinois by 1850 (along with many Saunders/Sanders and others). Any connections with these names? In my line I have Binkleys and Lees married in with Kearneys and Saunders/Sanders, and since my line is from the same area as your in the same time period, there is probably a connection.
