Who can tell me more about Samuel Baggett (son of Virginia Stack and Henry Warren Baggett) who died in 1913 in Cheatham County, TN (I assume). I have only seen a short note from a WPA Bible transcript which says, "died while serving as Sheriff of Cheatham County." Was he killed? Or, did he simply die while in office? Does anyone know the details. If not, what was the name of the local paper? I posted this on the Cheatham County query page, but thought I would cover all the bases. Thanks for any help.
