Hi List, I'm looking for information on the families of Gustavus Adolphus Dunn, b. 10/22/1852 and Mattie Ella Turner, b. 1/16/1851. Nacy Tennessee Claiborne 3 Jake (Clemmie) Dunn 7/1/1876 - 9/27/1954 m. Sallie E Brigham 4 Mary Etta (Dollie) Dunn 12/16/1877 - 11/11/1948 m. Henry Hebert Ament 5 Maude Ellen (Dante) Dunn 3/26/1879 - 8/23/1973 never married 6 Lillian May Dunn 5/30/1881 - 7/23/1907 m ? 7 Bessie Pearl Dunn 7/17/1883 - 7/5/1969 m. Fuller Lewis Kendrick (my grandparents) 8 Raymond A Dunn 6/6/1885 - 7/29/1885 9 Edie Newsom Dunn 3/26/1887 - 1/20/1959 m. ? Marsh 10 Paul F Dunn 4/27/1889 - 9/12/1904 m. ? 11 Harry Vanderbuilt Dunn - 11/18/1891 - 10/13/1969 m. Millicent Ellen Oury I know Gustavus Dunn's father was John Dunn, but have no other information about him, or who Gustavus' mother was. It is said that Mattie Turner (Dunn) was Cherokee-Choctaw. I don't know if that's true, but there is a Mattie E Dunn listed on the 1896 Dawes Commission Rolls. I have no other information about her or her family.
