Jim, Is your DW STACK the same as David W STACK b.1833, d.1916, son of Adam and Barbara STACK? My notes say that in 1879 David W STACK married Sarah (Sallie) S. Allen b.1846, d.1892. You probably are familiar with this. Edward Carter, it looks to me that your Uriah S. STACK b.1826, d.1901 is a brother of David W. STACK b.1833, d.1916. My notes say that Uriah is buried in the STACK-BAGGETT cemetery. Adam STACK b.ca.1790 came from South Carolina, as did my ancestor John STACK b.ca.1800. They certainly could be related, and we could all be cousins. It is also interesting that a Jacob STACK b.1801 was born in SC as well. So there was a STACK migration from SC to TN in the early 1800s. Does anyone have information about how these fellows are related? When I look at old SC records for STACKs, many were born in Ireland. I would certainly like to know more about this whole family. To me, the STACKS are such a puzzle. How to put this puzzle together?
