Linda...got a new computer a few months ago. Had Microsoft Works on it with Windows 95...This new one has a newer version of Works - I think 2000 and I have Windows 98. My files are saved as wps files in both, and of course, I can open them on my computer. But, when I send them as attachments in e-mail it comes out garbage. I tried to save them as a text file, but it will only let me save as wps (someone said that might be my problem)...I cannot find where there are any settings as to the type of file it will "save as"...When I send my transcriptions to the TN web site, the coordinator cannot read them anymore (no problem before)...I sent one to Jim Allen and he couldn't read it either...it is just garbage and I am very frustrated. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated. Thanks Linda. Reba
