The book covers Abel Gower, Jr.'s descendants for about 11 generations, and is documented as much as was humanly possible. I researched this for five years. I am descended from Lewis Garrett Gower and Mary "Polly Fowler. I could not find proof for my line., but believe Lewis is the son of Robert Gower, but it is possible he was the son of Elisha Gower.
