Jane Sanders, As you well know, Williams is a hard name to research. I have Bennett Williams as Samuel's brother. They came to Robt. Co. from Person County North Carolina. In my research and corresponding with Williams from that area, I have found a Benet Williams there who possibly was the father. Samuel was in Tennessee in the 1840 census.
