    1. Re: [TNCHEATH-L] TNCHEATHAM-L Different List
    2. Reba, Yes, I did get the newsletter. It's on my desk somewhere. I still think the tax list is a good idea. Could the county mailing list and tax list be used both at the same time? Or another wild idea I had was the Tennessean list. The Tennessean would provide us with the mailing list they have and it could have been used that way. There are so many ways and no one wants to listen to try them. Linda

    2. Reba, My only connection with the Demonbreums was as indicated through my great, great grandma Catherine Swaggard, Brinkley, Demonbreum. Rsp Jim P.S. Have you looked through the Demonbreum Society book at the CCHGA Office? 2. Jim, Demonbreum??? Which lines of Demonbreum are you working with. My line includes several Demonbreums - coming from Timothy--and branching off the Durard line! I know! That's a controversal line, but it belongs in my hubby's line so I'm trying to find all the scoop that I can. Reba

    1. Re: [TNCHEATH-L] TNCHEATHAM-L History Book
    2. Linda, don't you get the newsletter already? You certainly should. I think the one that Jim was talking about is the pamphlets about our history book that was out in the County. I think this time we are trying to mail out a copy of this pamphlet to all out-of-towners that are members of the association. If you don't get one by next week, let me know and I'll send you one. Reba

    1. Re: [TNCHEATH-L] Search Warrant, Roll Call, Surname List, etc.
    2. Reba, My great great grandmother, Catherine Swaggart, was married to Eli Brinkley and when he died of cholera on a trip to New Orleans she remarried to a John Demonbreun of the Marrawbone area of Cheatham. They had no issue --- :) she already had 12 by Eli. This John Demonbreun is also an ancestor of Ellie Ruth Smith in Nashville who is trying to find his grave. Catherine is buried in the graveyard on the hill in Ashland City that is between the new Motel and the trailer sales place. It is all overgrown and most of the markers have fallen over and are buried under 80 to 90 years of leaves. Rsp Jim P. S. Do not, repeat Do Not try to go up there alone; or at least let someone know when you do so we can find your snakebitten body!! Gran4piano@aol.com wrote: > Jim, Demonbreum??? 3. Mona BINGO! I saw a name I need. I have William T. Dunn who married Alice Riggan in 1876. I have their children and grandchildren but am missing some of the dates for them. I would appreciate it if you could help fill in any gaps. What I have is posted on http://www.patch.net If you do not have all the Riggan / Pegram ancestors on your Dunn line, they should be on my website. Thanks, Nola nduffy@patch.net http://www.patch.net Looking for any lines descended from RIGGAN / PEGRAM / BELL in Cheatham Co.

    3. Hi Marge! It's been a while hasn't it. I read this message to Reba and got to wonderng who Ada Neal was in relation to our Neals. This is the first I've heard of an Ada. Dave and I never made it to Ashland City at spring break as we had hoped. Megan (our daughter) had car trouble while she was at college and we had to use our vacation money for that. Oh well--that's what parents do. I think the last time we corresponded, you said you were going on vacation. How was it?
