They have a pretty good service Bill. I've never heard any complaints about them at all. One website said they cause spam but I can hardly see how they can be blamed for that. Also much has been made about people surfing with non graphic browsers. People say don't use java, don't use javascript etc because many people can't see it. I have head this about frames and tables also. Fact is, this is very very rare. Stats help you track things like that. Beseen has a good service, but a counter by itself may feed our egos, a counter with stats like the one you just used can be a great asset. I also use Linkcounter. They don't do counters, but they do stats. Configured correctly, you can see where people enter your site and what pages they go to once there. Plus it's totally invisible.
