I'd like to call everyone's attention to the Fallen Water Farm Festival in September in my county (Union). It's an old timey fair where people get together and make crafts, discuss history and other things. There are demonstrations of wheat thrashing and the like. Bill Landry of the Heartland Series will be there his year. It's a load of old style fun and it benefits great causes every year.
