We recently did a map and some population information of the Colonies in 1775. It shows the beginning of the settlement of East Tennessee. http://www.rootsweb.com/~tnkin/maps/conc.htm Anybody got any information to add to it? We bought a ton of books from the 1800's and early 1900's about the formation of the United States including WW1. The latest copyright is 1919 all the rest are before 1909. These have several great photos and articles as well as maps. Many cover Tennessee. Most of the maps are in black and white, so we will be redrawing them. We even got a 1800's edition of The Autobiography of Ben Franklin. Have no idea what good it will do Tennessee, but we may try to find someone who can use it.
