I wonder if you ever heard a rumor about some grave markers that city highway guys found down by the River? It is south of the Hart prop. & the city has something down there. There is a resort on that rd. (sycamore shoals? rd?) there for spring fishing in the Watuaga. There is also a rumor that perhaps 20-30 yrs, ago. there was a blacksmith shop there that was torn down. Would a historical groupin the area know anything about this?? Our Bishops lived in the area. Thanks a bunch.
