There are a lot of trees showing this couple and children living in Carter Co. TN. Robert and Mary first appear in Carter Co. on the 1860 census with the following children: Guilford, George, Whitley, Taylor, Eldridge, and an unnamed infant. What I don't understand is why none of these trees show that Robert and family were living in Washington Co., VA in 1850. Can we have some discussion on why there's isn't a connection? Thanks.
