I was just wanting a bit more specific information. The names I am researching who lived in that area are starting with Culbert & Griffiths (they pronounced as Griffey)... both may have several different spellings. They were also tied into the Buckles families. I would like to have a better idea as to where the area may have been. I know that later generations (as my grandmother) have said they lived "near the foot of Holston Mtn" & were over near the Keenburg side.
