Do you mean that Joshua OAKS married Elizabeth VANDERPOOL in 1765 in Wilkes County, NC? [actually Wilkes County, was not created until 1777, so not sure where the locality mentioned really was]. If, so then Elizabeth would have been born probably in the 1740s. OR do you mean that Elizabeth was born in 1765? I might be able to help if Elizabeth's birth year can be more accurately determined and the locality in which she was born or married is known.
