Can anyone tell me if there was ever a town/community by the name of White Top, Tennessee? My cousin has found in a little book where someone has written that Alex Shell married Jane Walker in White Top, Tennessee. She cannot find a Whitetop, Tn. in existence now. Many thanks. I went on google maps and asked for White Top TN and found there is a Whitetop Mountain just over the boarder in VA. There is a Whitetop Moutain Band that performs in the area, too.
