I bought 3 copies: one for me, my brother, & my father. It is currently out of print but I have found it at abebooks.com or you could try another out of print store. Originally, it was published in 1903 then re-printed in 1987. It is great as far a providing you with a good picture of the war and all it's horrors. Many of my family were in the 13th also. Albert is listed under Company M. I'll try to get you more info on Albert later. There is a bunch of names in the Carter County Tennessee book and it may take a while to tease out.
