The Will books are numbed Vol. 1, Vol. 2, Vol. 3. Beginning with Vol. 1 --June 1794 thru 1847. Will Book Vol. 1 was published by James L. DOUTHAT in 1985 by Mountain Press, Titled: "Carter Co. TN Wills & Inventories 1794-1847". Will books Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 is on microfilm Roll No. 101 "Carter Co.
