I know that some of my relatives (Della Daniels) worked at bemberg and the Rayon Plant. I myself lived in Elizabethton when I was a child. My Grandparents were John and Nina Belle Lambert that lived in Elk Mills, Tn. My grandfather helped build the Elk Mills Christian Church and lived in the white two story house nearby. My great grandfather William Lambert also lived in that area and Poga area. My father worked for Independent Life Insurance in the early 60's. My father attended school at the old school next to Elk Mills church. Please send any information that you may come across in The Spinnerette.
