Dear Julie, We wrote to each other 3-4 yrs ago' My g-grandparents were Andrew J. "Andy" Franklin and Mary Jane Winters. Since you listed "Franklin" in your "researching" file I'm wondering if and how you are related. I am looking for more on Andy's family, siblings etc. and especially his lineage. My grandmother Caldona C Franklin married Milton Dalles Beringer abt 1892. I never have found their marriage but suspect it was in Watauga Co,NC where Andy's family lived in 1880. Milt Beringer was from PA and the couple had 2 sons there. They evidently returned south to Crandall,Johnson Co,TN where my mother and aunt were born. In 1906 they moved to Kern,Co, CA. I think of you often and pray you are doing well. Hello: My Franklin's are from Surry Co., NC however in what little Franklin info I've seen for the Watauga County Franklins I believe they are probably from Surry as well.
