Smith and especially his son, Nathaniel. Some very new 2010 information seems to imply that my own Smith family (for whom I've been a genealogist for decades) may well be related to the John C. Smith family. How I would LOVE to make contact with you. The connections, prior to John C., are potentially amazing, if we can sort them out. I sadly realize your post to this Message Board in which you say, " "Nathaniel was my great grandfather and John C. Smith was my GG grandfather," is over 5 years old. So if you see this note from me, please respond! We can then go from there. I have my fingers crossed that you do see this post. Anyone else who is familiar with the names" John C.
