Taylor Carter Fain is also my GG grandmother. She lived with her son Alvin Fain until her death in 1947. My mother, Callie Mae Fain Mowdy was named after Callie Mae Carter Darnell. She has many fond memories of Grandma growing up. You said your grandparents are Uncle Hillary and Aunt Ida. Who are your parents? I remember going over to Eidson for Family reunions at Uncle Hillary and Aunt Ida's. My mother was born just down the lane from their house. The house is still standing. I have a picture of Grandma Amanda with my mother and sibling that I got from Callie Mae Darnell. I'd love to hear from you.
