Carter's tombstone? I am not a descendant and heaven only knows where all those descendants are by now. But, if there were a fund set up to repair the stone I would be happy to contribute. Most historical societies I know of are barely getting by on what little money they get from us researchers. Any clues on how much it would be to get it fixed?
